Our shoemaking tradition dates back to 1825 – our story began nearly 200 years ago when Cyrus and James Clark crafted a pair of sheepskin slippers. At the time, invention combined with superior craftsmanship was groundbreaking. We have remained true to these standards to this day. Even now, the design of a new style begins with the creation of a handcrafted shoe mold from a single piece of solid wood.
